This page states, in full, who pays Harbor Beacon Research, what interests the firm holds, and the limits that apply to everything we publish.

1. Ownership and affiliation
Harbor Beacon Research is affiliated with Harbor PE, a growth equity firm, through common ownership. Carl George is Managing Director of both firms.
The firms share a name convention and standards of rigor. They do not share positions, portfolios, or client information. Harbor PE does not receive Harbor Beacon Research findings on companies that have not engaged Harbor Beacon Research, and engaging Harbor Beacon Research does not place a company in front of Harbor PE.
2. Positions
Harbor Beacon Research holds no equity, debt, warrant, option, or other financial position in any company it researches, and takes none as consideration for its work.
3. Compensation
The only compensation Harbor Beacon Research receives in connection with a report is the fee paid by the subject company, where a fee applies. The Revenue Intelligence Report carries no fee.
We accept no referral fees, commissions, revenue shares, affiliate arrangements, sponsorships, or compensation of any other form from any vendor, platform, agency, tool, or service provider named, described, or implied in any report.
If we are asked who could execute work we have recommended, we may answer. We receive nothing for that answer.
4. Placement
No company may pay to be included in, excluded from, or characterized in any particular way within a competitive analysis. Competitors named in a report are named because the research identified them.
5. Consent and confidentiality
Reports are produced at the request of, and delivered to, the subject company. The report belongs to the client.
Anonymized findings may be used in aggregate research published by the firm. Any named or identifiable use of a client, a finding, or a document requires written permission from the client in advance.
We do not research a company on behalf of a third party without the subject company’s knowledge.
6. Estimates and forward-looking statements
Monetary figures in our reports are directional estimates derived from stated assumptions, and the derivation is printed alongside the figure. They describe a plausible conservative floor under those assumptions.
They are not guarantees, commitments, projections of actual results, or investment advice. No outcome is promised by any Harbor Beacon Research document.
7. Data sources and their limits
Our research draws on the subject company’s own public digital estate, live search results, publicly observable competitor properties and channel presence, published category and market data, and category benchmark data for contract values and conversion rates.
Third-party market data carries the limitations of its originating source, and those limitations apply to our use of it. Search results are a snapshot and change continuously.

8. Corrections
If you believe a Harbor Beacon Research document contains a factual error, write to corrections@harborbeaconresearch.com with the document, the page, and the disputed statement.
We will investigate, and where we find an error we will issue a corrected document to every recipient of the original and note the correction.
